Sales Executive

Technicolor’s premier, Post Production house in Vancouver offers cutting-edge audio and video post services for Feature Film and TV/Episodic productions from set to screen.

Our Vancouver facility is connected to Technicolor’s worldwide network of operations and has a full range of services, including: front-end, dailies, VFX and sound and colour finishing. We collaborate closely with storytellers to ensure that their visions are brought to life. 

We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join our Vancouver facility. 


Position Summary:

The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales by prospecting for new clients as well as nurturing existing customer relationships.  The Sales Executive will plan, develop and execute sales strategies while balancing client needs and operational workflows. 

  • Negotiate deals and prepare quotes/bids for clients with an aim to secure new business and new customer contacts obtaining approvals as required
  • Regularly review sales leads to identify news sales opportunities
  • Maintain excellent communication with the team (Sales/Operations/Client Service) ensuring all are up to date on each account
  • Attend industry functions, events, conferences, visits to our LA office working together in developing relationships
  • Liaise with the Operations/Finance teams to ensure outstanding client service and accounts receivable
  • Makes cold calls & researches for any project leads
  • Organizes promotional packages & strategies
  • Provides essential customer feedback to the appropriate divisions
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well with teams  


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 5-10 years-experience in sales and account management
  • Minimum 5 years-experience in Post Production industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a University/equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective team player
  • Communicate in a thorough, clear and timely manner and supports information sharing across all companies
  • Excellent Word, Excel, ScheduAll, Sales Force, Adobe PDF, and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to negotiate and “close the sale.”  Proven record of Sales initiatives
