Transfer Pricing Manager

About The Company

 

This Transfer Pricing Manager role is Paris based. You'll be joining an established team of like-minded professionals who collegiate in their approach. The role is to manage (along with the Global Head of Tax) as appropriate the design, review and implementation of Transfer Pricing policies, including reviewing the output of those policies and methods, within the context of the Group's overall Transfer Pricing approach. The role has a particular focus on the Americas, European and Asian region.

 

Key objectives critical to success:

  • Manage ad hoc Transfer Pricing queries and assist business, finance and tax teams with Transfer Pricing data requests and compliance.
  • Produce Transfer Pricing documentation and Masterfile in line with OECD action plan. Collaborate with the consolidation team to prepare/review the CBCR as well as ensure that CBCR notifications are submitted in a timely manner in all relevant jurisdictions. Assist in managing and developing policies and challenging benchmarks.
  • Document policies, at both regional and global level.
  • Work closely with the Business to recommend procedures and practices regarding the pricing of intra-group transactions, as well as monitoring the implementation of Group Transfer Pricing policies.
  • Provide support to entities undergoing tax audits and regulatory queries relating to Transfer Pricing matters.
  • Identify, document and review intra-group transactions and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate Transfer Pricing risk.
  • Manage and negotiate APA where need be.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve the whole Transfer Pricing process.
  • Act as a proactive Business partner and implement successful business-oriented solutions to complex problems.
  • Seek, recognize and champion innovative ideas.
  • Act quickly to change goals, plans and priorities in a complex environment .
  • Regularly monitor the evolutions of the OECD guidelines that are likely to impact the Group, as well as national TP requirements

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Professional qualification (Accountant/Lawyer/CTA) or relevant economic qualification.
  • Transfer Pricing professional having 5-10 years post qualification experience with a good knowledge of Finance.
  • A good general knowledge of direct and indirect tax issues affecting Transfer Pricing as well as a first experience with TP automation would be helpful.
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills – this role will involve significant face time with the business and finance functions and needs to be confident and credible in front of them.
  • When needed, ability to explain TP challenges in simple terms to partners not always familiar with TP/ statutory rules.
  • Excellent written communication skills – this role will be responsible for developing Transfer Pricing documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills.
  • Collaborative working style coupled with results-orientated focus.
  • Able to collaborates across geographies.
  • Monitor and drive deliverables across teams / divisions.
