HRIS Project manager

Position Overview:

Technicolor is currently recruiting for a Global HRIS Project Manager to reinforce our Global P&T digitalization team working on an international implementation of a new HRIS (Workday) and reporting to the head of HR digitalization. The best suited candidate for the role will have former experience working on a SaaS HR system implementation offering project management on functional streams. They will be entirely self-sufficient and will have strong communication skills. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure working on a global HR system implementation, gaining experience and developing new skills and responsibilities in an international environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Is accountable for the Data migration, global data model consistency and cross functional reporting: Owner of the global process design of this domain
  • Is accountable for the Time Off functionalities
  • Partners with business leaders to establish solutions strategies on the functional streams, to elaborate the proper functional requirements
  • Ensures that projects meet or exceed expectations by guiding all project activities to include, but not limited to, schedule, scope, budget, risk, change management, and quality control
  • Escalate to the Program Director issues
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to project team members in the areas of project lifecycle, operating procedures, processes and practices
  • Influences operational and executive leadership within the business areas to create and maintain alignment around the project business objectives, measurable benefits, success criteria, scope, and constrains impacting project delivery
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase People & Talent teams satisfaction
  • Acts as internal HR consultant and leverages business knowledge to ensure systems are strategically aligned
  • Responsible for coordination with countries to communicate, provide business and process knowledge
  • Communicate with business groups to obtain buy-in
  • Responsible for identifying data to be converted on their streams, cleansing data, validating the data migration, preparing test scripts as needed and testing the business processes and configuration in Workday
  • Manage change management and learning aspects for the populations of their domain in coordination with the countries change management leads
  • Have key role in post-production support for their specific domain: evolution of the processes, training on new functionalities, testing of system updates

The role is based in Paris and offers work from home options.

 

Must Haves:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, managing projects for full life-cycle – from initiation to implementation and close
  • Working knowledge of PMI project management principles, PMP certification, or equivalent experience appreciated
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in HRIS, systems analysis, and/or software implementation is required
  • Prior experience implementing HR systems on Talent Management and Compensation & Benefits and other HR domains
  • Knowledge of SaaS applications
  • Must have strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills, including facilitation and presentations
  • Experience leading business transformation projects and managing complex project plans and 3rd party resources
  • Prior experience managing vendors highly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Perfect fluency in English and French
