Sr. Account Specialist 1


  • Manage the relationship with the studios, inclusive of all strategic and tactical responsibilities.
  • Consult and act on the client's behalf in understanding/communicating the customer's expectations and objectives
  • Responsible for development and presentation of all client facing information relative to their distribution needs
  • Be capable of managing projects: organization of various teams + meetings, regular publishing of status and all related customer communication
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of the customer contract and rate card, as well as be able to interpret and communicate pricing to the customer.
  • Additionally, have a thorough knowledge of all provided services: custom packaging, distribution and warehousing.
  • Be capable of speaking authoritatively on behalf of the organization. Escalate issues when necessary, and ensure that operational performance is in-line with commitments to the customer
  • Have an on-going drive to increase customer satisfaction and deepen the client relationship
  • Gain fundamental knowledge of the customer's business model, organization and objectives
  • Actively lead and communicate to the customer any service or quality related issues


Sales Order Management:                                                                                                   

  • Develop/publish order status updates to the customer                                                                           
  • Translate forecast information from client into distribution plans that meet the customer's requirements
  • Identify + document issues and concerns, assess feasible resolutions, present options and actively participate in solving any issues
  • Ensure on-time delivery meeting/beating all SLA criteria’s                                                                                  


Internal Management:                                                                                                                                 

  • Capable of providing leadership to the operations group relative to client expectations
  • Possess a willingness to work additional hours specific to seasonal and/or specific



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or at least 5 years related account management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Prior experience utilizing warehouse management applications preferred, AS400/JBA experience in particular preferred.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, able to effectively interface with others and must be experienced with inventory systems.
  • Reporting Skills, Thoroughness, Organization, Attention to Detail, Research Skills, Problem Solving, Customer Focus, Quality Focus, Proactive, Dependability, Microsoft Office (Primarily Excel)
  • May require the ability to lift 15 lbs. on occasions
  • Some warehouse functions 5 to 10% of the time (trips to the floor, product searches, etc...)
