Manager Inventory Control

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for ensuring accurate interdepartment transfer coordinations, location integrity, return to stock and interfacility shipments.

Responsible for warehouse cleanliness and product organization and security.

The daily management of the flow of products to meet customer requirements.

Management, scheduling and training of all Inventory Control employees.

Reporting of all discrepant, non-conforming materials from inventory areas.

Must maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.

Performs activities of workers supervised.

Must be able to work variable shifts and overtime as required.

Must follow ISO work instructions.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the Supervision of 15+ employees in the inventory department. Carries out Manager responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
