Inventory Accounting Analyst

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Balancing and reconciling of customers system with Technicolor’s JBA for all finished goods and dry goods in Memphis, Canada, and Mexicali.
  • Customer facing position with clients weekly.
  • Weekly KPI reporting for all Inventory areas to Clients
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to clients on the cycle count program.  Responsible for reporting for all North America territories
  • Assist with physical inventory planning, execution, and balancing of all major physical inventories in Memphis, Nashville, Huntsville, Mexicali and Canada.
  • Assist with various customers balancing and issues for all North American territories. (Memphis, Nashville, Huntsville, Mexicali, Canada and Mexico City.
  • Responsible for monthly and weekly reporting month-end reporting for all clients in North America to clients, upper management and the finance department for billing.
  • Work with clients on inventory discrepancies and resolutions.
  • Year-end inventory and transactional confirmations from outside auditors for all clients in North America.
  • Effectively communicate issues and results to clients and upper management.
  • Reconciliation and adjustments of cycle counts and product issues within all plants for the major studios.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Finance; or at least five years related extensive inventory management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Accounting/Finance background is highly preferred.  
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Prior experience utilizing warehouse management applications preferred, AS400/JBA experience in particular preferred.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, able to effectively interface with others and must be experienced with inventory systems.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  •  Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Capable of working in both an office & manufacturing/warehouse environment.
