Benefits Specialist

Under the direct supervision of the Benefits Manager and the indirect supervision of the Director of Benefits, the Benefits Specialist coordinates the daily administration of the U.S. benefit and wellness programs.

  • Provide customer service support for employee questions, to resolve any issues or errors. Successfully handle most non-routine issues and escalate issues that cannot be resolved to management;
  • Provide administration of all benefit programs to include activities such as, but not limited to, new hire enrollments, life event changes, eligibility, premium deductions, etc.;
  • Oversee and provide data file transfers to vendors, to ensure that accurate information is flowing correctly;
  • Coordinate any employee data corrections in internal and carrier data systems, as needed;
  • Coordinate benefits billing / process invoices / handle administrative functions;
  • Administer duties as required for a successful Open Enrollment;
  • Provide report writing from Technicolor’s data systems and systems of record;
  • Provide daily administration and consistent audit of the Health Savings Account Plan; and
  • Compliance:  Maintain clear understanding of general benefits-related regulatory requirements and updates, as well as internal policies, procedures and control standards. Performs responsibilities in full compliance with standards and procedures.
