GENERAL SUMMARY:

Global People Services Center is part of the Global HR Organization accountable for delivering consistent, high quality, and efficient centralized services to HR, Employees and Manager Communities with the ability to scale as the business grows. Primary responsibilities include acting as HRSS Subject Matter Expert and liaison for a specific HRSS functional expertise or HRSS Customer Group (Knowledge Centers, BU HRBP Teams & Country HRBP Teams).

 

As part of this scope, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and documenting HRSS Knowledgebase / Repository.

 

Technicolor Centre of Expertise has a vacancy for an HR Advisor to support
our Canada Region.
The role will provide an opportunity to work with a range of Technicolor businesses and will be focussed on supporting our HR Operations Team either the New Hires / Starters Team, Lifecycle Management Team or the Leavers (Exit Management Team)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide transactional support to HR Operations & HR Business Partner Teams within one or more business function(s). The support may include any functional area of Human Resources, including Organizational Development, Operations, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, or Training
  • Assists HR Operations with the execution of HR Programs; applying consistent processes and practices, both systematic and Ad-hoc; provides data entry and reporting as per the request of the HR Team supported
  • Additional areas of functional expertise may include Employee Separation (Voluntary or Redundancy), Employment Letters, Salary Increase Letters, HR Program Support (Employee Data Management) & Reports
  • Applies high level knowledge of functional areas of HR processes and programs to respond to Ask HR cases in a consistent and systematic manner
  • Provides resolutions to a wide range of problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices
  • Tasks are completed with accuracy and in an efficient manner, within the specified SLAs. May require multiple interactions and coordination of activities
  • To work cross functionally to resolve inquiries
  • Updates relevant HR System (Workday / Oracle) to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely data entry
  • Ensures compliance with requirements established by company procedures, local government regulations, and audit requirements
  • Works with limited autonomy under moderate direction. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall quality
  • Contributes to positive and effective team environment and effective execution
  • Working on various HRIS tools such as Workday, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow SuccessFactors, Kronos, Enwisen or Dovetail HR Case Management
  • Should be flexible to support when there is a surge in volume or if need arises in the team

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE & REPORTING LINES:

Reporting to the Manager, HR Competency Center
