Corporate Culture & DEI Specialist

The Role:

We are looking for a great communicator to join the Corporate Communications team to develop and deploy employee engagement programs; as well as support the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team in creating and delivering initiatives designed to build a culture of inclusion and ensure the long-term sustainability of DEI efforts. The Corporate Culture & DEI Specialist will report directly into the Senior Marketing Manager.

 

Desired Qualification, Experience & Skill

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or journalism.
  • Previous working experience as communications specialist/event management/HR for 5-6 years.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices and trends in diversity, equity and inclusion, including familiarity with key concepts (e.g. cultural competence, unconscious bias, etc.)
  • Experience coordinating events, managing logistics, identifying speakers, and developing agendas/materials
  • Ability to multi-task, working on multiple projects with minimal supervision and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to interact proactively with people leaders and employees at all levels of the organisation.

Job responsibilities

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

  • Researches, develops, recommends, and executes strategies to foster Technicolor’s DEI goals.
  • Reviews current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder the company’s DEI goals.
  • Understand organizational dynamics and actively work to cultivate DEI allies across the organization.
  • Work with HR to draft and implement recruiting and hiring strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provides guidance to supervisory and human resources staff in developing objective performance and other employee evaluations and policies.
  • Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation and best practices.
  • Provides training and policy updates to colleagues, ensuring legal compliance of management and human resources staff.
  • Maintenance of relationships to diversity related organizations to improve Technicolor’s image.
  • Monitor workplan and strategic plan to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion.
  • Report on overall progress to ensure that learning and results are utilized to improve DEI programs and processes.

 

Corporate Culture / Employee Engagement

  • Design and implement internal campaigns and events to boost engagement and bring our core values to life.
  • Drive employee engagement.
  • Coordination with events agency and engaging with other Business units to ensure seamless execution of events and other activities.
  • Manage internal communications channels & events i.e. Town Halls/All Hands/Annual days/Corporate events/Sports Day, etc
  • Create and analyze event evaluations and prepare post-event reports.
  • Identify, track, and analyze internal communication & engagement metrics; conduct research of and adopt best practices in employee communications & engagement.
  • Work with HR to develop employee engagement programs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
