Culture & Communications Manager (India)

 

The role:

We are looking for a great communicator to join the Communications and Marketing team in Banagalore to develop and deploy employee engagement programs and support the role out of global projects—including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and other campaigns. Our work focuses on creating and delivering a culture of inclusion to support the employee value proposition at Technicolor Creative Studios, India. The Culture and Communications Manager will report directly into the Director – Brand & Communications.

 

Desired qualification, experience & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or journalism.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Previous working experience in a similar role as a communications specialist/event management/HR for 5-6 years.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating, organizing, and running outreach and engagement activities
  • Experience coordinating events, managing logistics, identifying speakers, and developing agendas/materials
  • Ability to multi-task, working on multiple projects with minimal supervision and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to interact proactively with key stakeholders and employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Knowledge of current best practices and trends in DEI, including familiarity with key concepts
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Team player with excellent networking skills 
  • Experience working with global teams

 

 

Job responsibilities

Employee engagement

  • Design and implement internal campaigns and events to boost engagement and bring our shared values to life.
  • Enaage with the Global Communications team to ensure India is at the forefront of campaigns and initiatives, at an international and local level.  
  • Work closely with Country Head, Head of Studio and management committees to achieve employee engagement objectives.
  • Work to embed the agreed employer brand and employee values proposition for Technicolor Creative Studios into the fabric of the business
  • Coordination with events agency and engaging with other business units to ensure seamless execution of events and other activities.
  • Manage internal communications channels & events i.e., Town halls/all hands/annual days/corporate events/sports day, etc.
  • Create and analyze event evaluations and prepare post-event reports.
  • Identify, track, and analyze internal communication & engagement metrics; conduct research of and adopt best practices in employee communications & engagement.
  • Work with HR to develop employee engagement programs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to and monitor workplan and strategic plan to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion.
  • Work closely with colleagues to translate internal initiatives into potential for attracting the best talent.
  • Research, develop, recommend, and execute strategies to foster Technicolor Creative Studios’ Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) goals.
  • Review current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder the company’s DEI goals.
  • Understand organizational dynamics and actively work to leaders and allies across levels in the organization.
  • Work with Communications & HR colleagues to implement recruiting and hiring strategies which attract employees from diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
  • Maintain relationships with diversity related organizations to enhance Technicolor Creative Studios’ image and reputation.
